The Organization The Campus Observer is an online newspaper that is committed to serving the NUS student community. First published on Aug 14, 2006 at the beginning of the 2006/2007 academic session, this website is updated on weekdays, with scheduled updates on Fridays, in the first 10 weeks of the academic semester. We update on an ad hoc basis in the last two weeks of the semester and cease operation during the reading week and extended university vacations. While The Campus Observer is entirely written and edited by students from the National University of Singapore, it is not officially affiliated with the university administration or the NUS student union. We are committed to articulating a mature voice that emphasizes accuracy and fairness. While we do not claim to represent the student body, we are committed to the expression of diverse viewpoints, to being a top source for in-depth and comprehensive news and features, and a rewarding co-curricular activity for our staff members.
