The latest addition to the local waterfront dining scene is meant to satisfy the insatiable desire for a fantasy getaway. Privé, which means “Private” in French, is hidden away at Marina at Keppel Bay, Singapore’s only privately owned island.
Located a mere 10-minute walk away from VivoCity, the only route to Privé’s alluringly intimate charm is by means of a newly constructed suspension bridge. The modern chic destination houses a New York styled modern fine dining restaurant, an outdoor waterfront Gastrobar, and a café type bakery.
The most spectacular view of Privé is its breath-taking waterfront scenery exhibited luxuriously at the Gastrobar. Rested in a chic and intimate alfresco setting, the Gastrobar allows for one to kick back and relax at the end of an over-worked day or to romance the evening away in the ‘private’ getaway, far from the gaze of the city. In addition, one might also consider sweetening the night with some of Privé’s bakery’s fine selection of cakes and pastries (available for order at the Gastrobar). Livin’ must try recommendations at Privé Gastrobar and Bakery
 | Scallop and Bacon - $15 This sinful indulgence of scallop and bacon melts the heart and taste buds almost instantly as one takes a bite and savours the juiciness. |
 | Dukkah Spiced Chicken Couscous - $12 This dish of smooth tenderly grilled chicken interrupted curiously by the coarseness of the couscous poses a unique juxtaposition guaranteed to kick up a storm in one’s mouth. |
 | Profiteroles with frangelico cream - $6 Served in a slightly chilled tantalising trio, the rich combination of chocolate coating and silky frangelico cream in this almost perfect match in taste heaven presents one with an absolute drop-dead, must-try delicacy. | |
